Help

White Light is a text-based, multi-user, role-playing game.

To connect to White Light, you need either a telnet or mud client program or a java-capable web browser. Use a telnet or mud program to connect to: IP:port (IP address port#) or connect with a java-capable web-browser.

• Basics
  • Before connecting - set your terminal program to 25X80 (column X line) display and ANSI colour if you have it.
  • Think of a name for a player character and a password, you must choose a name and set a password before entering the game.
  • Think of what type of character you would like to play. Before entering the game you must choose a character class and phenotype.

• Help in the Game
  • Help is available within the game by typing: help
    
  • You can get a complete list of commands by typing: commands
    
  • For help on a specific command, type: help 'command'
    where 'command' is the name of the command you would like explained.
  • Information for new users is available by typing: info
  • Information about White Light game specifics is available by typing: news
  • Play policies can be seen by typing: policy
